Where are the 100% recycled paper towels made?
Our 100% recycled paper towels are made in the USA from 100% recycled paper (minimum 80% grade A, post-consumer fiber). That 20% is stuff that never reached consumers, but is still recycled paper (like the trimmed section of a giant roll of paper towels).
Whitening Agents
The paper towels are whitened using process chlorine-free (PCF) whitening, which uses ozone, oxygen, and/or peroxide to whiten the paper. This method uses no chlorine, thus significantly reducing the amount of harmful waste produced by the process. Some more advantages of using recycled pulp is that it takes far less energy and water to convert old paper to pulp than to convert virgin trees to pulp.
